Position Overview: Reporting to the Manager of the Family Birthing Centre, the successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning implementation and evaluating nursing care and practice activities in a multidisciplinary family centered level 2c care environment. The RN is responsible for maternal and newborn assessments and care during the ante-partum, and post-partum period as well as care for pregnant person and their families during labour and delivery. You will be able to participate in continuous education opportunities and workshops to help further your professional development and growth. Your customized orientation is geared towards your learning needs. On average, the length of your orientation will be approximately 6 weeks.
